The winter is a critical time for players to work on skills that will help them compete in the upcoming Spring and Summer seasons.  Join the Meteors for Winter Training by signing up for our exclusive nearby indoor Winter Softball Clinics!​

Early Winter Hitting Intensive

Fridays, Nov 14 - Jan 30 (8 sessions): $260

This indoor clinic will focus exclusively on helping players become more effective hitters. Players will receive individualized coaching from a professional coach as well as plenty of at-bats against game-speed pitches.  Each player's progress will be tracked using a unique approach that includes data from live swings in a HitTrax cage.

Sessions will take place at Dingers, 50 Burnett Avenue in Maplewood, on Fridays 4:30 - 5:30 PM or 5:30 - 6:30 PM depending on age group.  Dingers is a relatively new facility with friendly owners, and most importantly it's just a 10-minute drive from Millburn!

 

We will have breaks for the holidays, session dates are Nov. 14, Nov. 21, Dec. 5, Dec. 12, Jan. 9, Jan. 16, Jan. 23, and Jan. 30.

Late Winter Fundamentals Clinic

Feb 1 - Mar 21 (12 sessions): $260

This indoor clinic will focus on fundamental skills (fielding, base running, hitting, etc.) and teamwork in preparation for the Spring travel season.  Players interested in joining the Spring or Summer Meteors rosters are strongly recommended to participate in this clinic for team building and skill development.

This clinic will also take place at Dingers (see address above), and will generally be two sessions per week - likely one weekday evening and one weekend day.  We have some flexibility and will survey those who sign up.​​
