Save $100 on this bundle to join the Meteors for our indoor pre-season prep clinic and both the Spring and Summer 2026 travel seasons!
Late Winter Fundamentals Clinic Details
This indoor clinic will focus on fundamental skills (fielding, baserunning, hitting, etc.) and teamwork in preparation for the Spring travel season. Players interested in joining the Spring or Summer Meteors rosters are strongly recommended to participate in this clinic for team building and skill development.
Sessions are Thursdays 4:30 - 6:00 PM and Sundays 3:00 - 4:30 PM and run from February 5 to March 19. All sessions are indoors at Dingers, 50 Burnett Avenue, Maplewood, about a 15 minute drive from downtown Millburn.
Spring Season Details
The Meteors play in the USA Softball District 2 league. This Spring season will consist of 10 regular season games followed by a single-elimination playoff tournament. The regular season begins on Sunday, March 29 and will end no later than May 9, with playoffs the following weekend. All games are initially scheduled as Sunday doubleheaders, with the exception of playing on the Saturdays before Easter (4/4) and Mother's Day (5/10). We are able to adjust schedules somewhat depending on player and field availability. Players may participate in the township's Spring recreational softball programs and still play on the Meteors.
Summer Season Details
While details on the Summer season have not yet been released, the season typically starts during the first or second week in June and runs through late July, including playoffs. Games are generally scheduled on weeknights, beginning 6 PM or later to avoid conflicting with day camps.
